Hazard not correct for Chelsea captaincy

Eden Hazard does not see himself as a suitable candidate to replace John Terry because the Premier League leaders’ captain next season.
Terry will leave Stamford Bridge at the finish of the 2016-17 campaign, which means Antonio Conte will have to name a brand new first-choice skipper.
Gary Cahill has worn the armband in Terry’s absence this season and seems to become the leading candidate to succeed his fellow centre-back in 2017-18, but Hazard’s name has also been described resulting from his role as Belgium captain.
Having said that, the 26-year-old feels he does not possess the traits needed to serve as skipper inside the Premier League.
“I assume we’ve some players who could be much more than a captain within this team,” Hazard told Sky Sports.
“When I talk to you in the national team, I usually do not know if I’m a good captain, but I’m a captain around the pitch.
“Off the pitch I usually do not like to talk a whole lot. In England I feel the captain has to talk and make folks prepared for the games. I’m not this kind of guy, I can speak with my feet nevertheless it is not my job to speak to everyone.
“I assume JT does this, Gary [Cahill], [Cesar] Azpilicueta as well as Cesc. They deserve to become captain.”
