SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – Former NBA player Damon Jones place LeBron James via pregame shooting workouts in the course of final year’s NBA Finals. Months later, Jones is now exercising NBA Improvement League players as an assistant coach with all the Canton Charge.

Jones and James became close mates when each were with all the Cavaliers from 2005-08. Jones’ 11-year NBA profession with ten teams ended following playing with all the Milwaukee Bucks throughout the 2008-09 season. Jones remained close with James just after his NBA days concluded.

Jones is vocal on Canton’s bench, tends to make game plans on opposing teams, calls substitutions and plays, operates with guards off the court as well as provides comic relief when needed.
