Sources: Pacers rookie Myles Turner to undergo thumb surgery Monday

Indiana Pacers rookie center Myles Turner will undergo surgery NBA 2K MT Monday afternoon to repair a fracture in his left thumb, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Turner, 19, is expected to miss 4 to six weeks just after surgery.

Turner suffered the chip fracture in his thumb through final Wednesday’s win over the Boston Celtics and had explored various recovery possibilities ahead of deciding on surgery.

In eight games this season, Turner has averaged 6.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 15.9 minutes per game.
